my husband is so picky, he does not like virtually ANY property i show him photos of when i find it on the internet
all I ever hear is, not enough trees, not enough acreage, too dry, too ugly, too this and too that
since they list new items every day, we just KEEP LOOKING !
A Dorkie? We've got a 11-month old Dachsund/Yorkshire mix male and I really can't describe how wonderful he is. Or could he be so wonderful because I stumbled onto a comment you left on Amazon about Kevin's book which prompted me to by it and seriously changed the way I look at dogs? The old chicken and egg story maybe. But I love my Dorkie Gustaf. Happy hunting!

When getting a dog I was torn between the Newfoundland and an English Setter. We decided that the birds in the nearby woods might be too tempting for the setter.
If you are looking to adopt vs. breeder, I really liked the people at Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue.
